I have just been trawling through the
on the server again and have deleted everyone registered before July last year who set up a blog but never got round to making an entry.There are still dozens of blogs with one or two entries that have obviously been abandoned, and in a month or so I will delete these as well. That is the problem with the internet - give people something for nothing and they tend not to value it - 'must have some of that 'cos it's free'
(NB - this will not affect blogs that are 'complete' - i.e. that are content-rich but have come to their natural end)
There are many really excellent blogs on the server, but to the casual browser they are lost in the dross - which is not fair on those who are making good use of the facility.
So from now on new registrations on YotBlog will have to be applied for and vetted by me or an Admiral - we need to know that you are going to use it.
