Bang on - they couldnae - so instead they took aff ra moused on shackle an then watched as the riser slid gracefully doon the hole in the middle of the hippo ( if ye'll pardon the expression) an I presume the foredeck brain donor then shouted "thats us awa'"

And the 2012 Award for Apprentice of the Year goes to......

BTW . I can't remember what I typed last night that made the swear police Change it to 'annoying ' people but can take a fair stab at guessing what 'love child ' was.

The chain will last longer if left away from all the oxygenated water near the surface when not in use. Could it be that we have a bit of savvy in the marinero's bothy after all?

Edit - perhaps a retrieval string would make things easier come Spring . Has anyone asked or checked the location for a wee buoy?

You'll have the location on your chartplotter?

Ardfern Yacht Centre have accepted responsibility and are going to get it sorted in the spring - however I was going to let Shard stay on it free of charge for the winter.....
