Really handy position converter
www.nearby.org.uk/ - takes postcodes, lat/long, OS co-rdinates etc and provides links to several online maps, weather, Geograph, antiquarian etc. Clever.

Most of the links fail for my address. Wrong side of the tracks possibly?

Duly bookmarked. Could be very handy. I couldn't get a lot of the links to work, but did discover that there's a broch inside the M9, M80, M876 triangle! Who'd have thought it?

Yes, I was a bit surprised to learn that there was one so near. It's even on the OS map!DaveS wrote:did discover that there's a broch inside the M9, M80, M876 triangle! Who'd have thought it?

Haven't checked all the links, but the ones that I did try all seemed to work. A pretty good example of how marvellous the net can be at linking up so much disparate information, and so many images.
