Hardy, you are speaking b*llocks old man.

The North Sea is already legally divided into a Scottish sector and an English sector. It has to be as Scots law is different to English law.

The relevant law is The Continental Shelf (Jurisdictional) Order 1968.

Currently this places 90% of the oil in Scottish waters, however this percentage is gradually growing as new fields open up to the North of present fields and also to the West of the mainland.

The SNP advocate dividing the North Sea assets based on the 55.50' latitude or upon international legal principles of equidistance.

Now, might I suggest that you all stop this racio-political bickering or go over to you-know-where if you want to whinge about which nation currently has the biggest chip on its shoulder. This is a sailing forum.
"Here "Here" Nick, Well said (regards bickering) talk about thread drift, it is a sailing/boating forum and will remain a pleasent place if we all keep it so.

Now then, where's "the works" I have a spanner I want to throw in?

My Crew keeps making disparaging comments on her chosen County of residence and also mocks the flag of said County:

I don't always believe that she is joking, but she says she is, a long time after.

Should I get a pair of Ensigns made up, one with a propper flag as above, and one with a red rose on so she can fly that when she is on watch?

Cheers Bob.
