Aye its a pretty messed up place... If you want to go onto a forum feeling happy with life and come off feeling depressed and angry then that's the place for you.
It does have the occasional useful thread but most of the time they are highjacked by peeps just wanting to start arguments.
The liveaboard, Scuttlebutt & PBO are however very good.

You don't say very much about yourself in your profile, here or TOPs. Are you a sailor? do you have a boat? where are you based? always good to know a little about people posting on forums, quite a few in the lounge keep very secretive about themselves, but they also tend to be the ones that upset others...

Welcome

I can't imagine anyone anywhere recommending the Lounge.

Sociable sailors tend to let folk know where they are and where their boat is then they can meet up and chat, keyboard warriors/trolls tend not to.
Seminole.
