Agreed, but it is informative and there are some great sailing scenes. Really enjoying it and seem to have particularly taken to Stanley.
Deadlines will be tight and clearly it is aimed at an audience who dont sail, as well as one who do. Going through Dorus Mor last night, he didn't mention the whirlpools in that wee place that was right behind him which I felt was a tad remiss.

Yeah but, the script is a bit plonking and he waves his arms about too much. Agreed that the camera work is excellent and that the dog is the best character on there.

For all its short comings it was way better than any of the other dross that's on the telly.

Just started watching- bit disappointed that they left from Croabh and went the wrong way!! I thought he mentioned Highlands, wilderness, and emptiness...

I think the Crinan probably did represent wilderness to the lovely but Southern Mr Dimbleby
