Water tap Identification Help

Post by BlowingOldBoots »

Can anyone identify this pump action water tap and/or know of a stockist of spare parts? I have 2 of these, a fresh water and sea water tap. Both have stopped working and will be dismantled for repair. Its most likely a washer/seal on the plunger that's failed.

Thanks in advance,

Looks like the village pump to me. Bet it's flap valve trouble that a cleanup wil fix.

Found the pump here: -

Its a lever action pump, Part No SY-1304 at a whopping £150 +VAT per pump.

You are probably correct sahona in your analysis as they offer a conversion kit from a leather washer to a nitrile washer which "greatly improves the reliability for rarely used pumps".

So problem solved.
