On various fora- this one included- random words appear as hyperlinks. They link to crappy wee advert boxes telling me I've won all sorts of shyte.
Do I have a virus or is this on the forum?
For example, at the bottom of the page I'm looking at, the 'attach signature' option has one of these hyperlinks on the words' signatures'
It's pissing me off big time... (looking at this post the words 'wee' and 'pissing' are now linking to some shitty add.)

Can't be a very good virus if it links "wee" and "pissing", obviously micturatorial words, to scatological websites.
... and no it doesn't do it on my machine.

Yep. Something you have installed 'accidentally' with some other freeware or browser add-on by not ticking or unticking a box at some point in the install process.Silkie wrote:I'm afraid it looks like you have an uninvited guest.
Have a look through your installed programmes. It might be a spyware called "Top Text" . Malwarebytes or Spybot may find it, so try a scan with them.
