What a week!

Post by Silkie »

I didn't do a lot of sailing since I started the week with a gammy wrist but what I did was all prime. I've never experienced such a spell of weather aboard before with wall-to-wall sunshine and winds to F4 the rule.

:sailing:

Top fun.

The Boxer
Just a come-on from the whores on 7th Avenue

The Folker
Till he fell and broke his wrist and ruined his sex-life

Your gammy wrist comment put me in mind of it.....

Claymore! :D

Can we write this one?

I am just a poor Boy and my stories often told,
How I sail my little Hurley,
Round every rock and sandbank they are kind enough to show me,
All lies and jest,
But you all just hear the bad things, and disregard the rest,
When I’m out there, I really try my best.

Chorus:

La-la-la bang crash,
I’ll get it right one day,
La-la-la bang crash,
I’m ‘rafting-up’ you best out my way.......

In Pulldoran floats a Hurley
The finest wee boat made
And she carries a reminder of every rock and beach she'd ever sat upon
All wind and waves
Still the Silken one persists in getting pissed and perching under bridges
Where the big boats just don't go

Lie la Lie - Tigh an Trish
La la la la lie la lie
La La Lie - Tigh an Trish
La la la la lie la lie lalalala lie.

Perhaps we can be spared that rather offensive post?

One lounge is enough.

A reflection on the hierarchy of hatred which exists in the minds of the low life, perhaps?

Yep! And changing attitudes in society over time .. thiough sadly I suspect that discrimination and bigotism is merely displaced rather than removed.

The "them and us" is inherent in human nature and its manifestations just change clothes to keep up with fashion. I won't draw any parallels with the upsurge in nationalism cos that will just upset some people ;-)

It's offensive I grant you, but the wrong level of offence. I wanted to be 15% less offended than that.
