Kerrera ferry

Post by sahona »

Anyone aware of the hassle getting to and from the marina now that the restaurant customers are filling the ferry?
I heard rumblings from people who had paid big money for a mooring, having to stand amongst the shopping bags waiting for the diners to be transported - and it's always raining in Oban isn't it?

An interesting post don't you think? Now fekaff bubbles.

We visited a couple of times last year and had no problems. There were even extra ferries on when large groups arrived which we took advantage of once.
Seminole.
Cheers Bob.

The only one I've ever had trouble with is the last one and even then, although they try to persuade you when going ashore to get the penultimate ferry back or you'll be stranded for the night if the last one is full, they will of course make two trips if neccessary.

Muzzy's not keen on it either after the Triple Toe Loop and half nelson on landing. Still limps a bit.
