Portavadie: Sic Transit Gloria Mundi

Post by ubergeekian »

Having had lunch and a shower (in that order, I was hungry) at Portavadie yesterday, I have tragic news. Brace yourselves, boys.

The hair straightener in the gents has ... gone.

How the Honourable Timbo's motorhome got her name - she was a sick Transit and he bought her on a Monday.

Ah, but they've left a wee bit flex......try touching that...and you could have had your hair frizzled instead. I'm told that the Ladies are down to only 1 straightener.

We must just have missed you. We got into Portavadie late afternoon on Wed after a long but enjoyable day beating down Loch Fyne from The Creggans Inn near Srtachur.

If you were the nice people who circled once outside to let us out, many thanks.
