Having switched to 10mm chain, I have a 60m length of 8mm chain looking for a new home. At present it is sitting in my garage near Campsie Glen north of Glasgow. If you are willing to collect it I will be pleased to consider any sensible offers.

Hope you are not changing for heavier chain due to a bad weather forcast
I may be looking for about 40 metres of 5/16" chain which I think is the same as 8mm. I could probably offer £50 and could collect tonight, I am away sailing for 2 weeks after that. Not sure if this is a sensible offer or not, appologies if it is not. Angus

Angus, Thanks for your offer. I do not want to reduce the chain length as the full 60m might be useful for someone. It is a continuous 60m length of galvanized 8mm chain which has synchronized perfectly with my Lofrans windlass.
