Martin Lawrence's Boat.
Martin Lawrence's Boat.
A recent post elsewhere has got me pondering what's was/is Martin Lawrence's Blue Ketch called? Jambo rings a bell. Is that right?

If that's Thomasina that wasn't the boat he was on that day. (In fact we spoke to him 2.3 times over a couple of days.)
This is what he was on:

He may by now be boatless and sailing with friends. Last season he had a HR but was in process of trying to sell, swallowing the anchor I believe.

Friends of ours bought the HR.Silkie wrote:He may by now be boatless and sailing with friends. Last season he had a HR but was in process of trying to sell, swallowing the anchor I believe.

Someone elsewhere says this:Silkie wrote:He may by now be boatless and sailing with friends. Last season he had a HR but was in process of trying to sell, swallowing the anchor I believe.
That would be Erraid. She was steel.
He then had a Bowman 36 called Thomasina.
He then had a Halberg Rassy called waterman.
He is presently boatless.
Given that it was pretty easy to find an E-Mail address for ML based on Erraid I reckon it's got to be that. The internet is a wonderful place.
Re: Martin Lawrence's Boat.
I think that Thomasina would have been sold c. 2002/2003 because I remember getting details of her when we were last looking around to buy. IIRC she was ashore at Dunstaffnage.

That bodes badly.SteveN wrote:I think that Thomasina would have been sold c. 2002/2003 because I remember getting details of her when we were last looking around to buy. IIRC she was ashore at Dunstaffnage.
This would have been 2002 or 2003 so that rules out Erraid, and it's not Thomasina.
