Ash vote for me as Commodore (is that not a new fangled computer thing) and you will have my vote for admiral.
I certainly do feel the pressure - I'm not sure that I can rise to the challenge. A suitable subject might have been a description of my first sail on the Clyde on my own boat, but I'm not sure if I can keep quiet for that long. Maybe you could delete some of my less worthy posts to knock my count back a bit!Silkie wrote:I hope you've got a good post planned Ash.

. BTW - do the coloured Admirals get a burgee? Will peeps think that I'm constantly in quarantine?Ash wrote:I will need to 'talk' in quotes all the time so that you can see the text against the background!!
Ok - that's a deal.Falkirkdan wrote:Bit of you scratch my back and i'll scratch yours here.

In actual fact, I started my working life as a Merchant Navy Engineering Cadet. I wonder if my uniform is up in the loft? I suspect that the only bit that might still fit is the cap!lady_stormrider wrote:I was wondering if Ash was looking for a chentelman's outftters for such a suitable occasion

For a while, I thought that your skipper might overtake me as his posting rate was much higher but the maintenance of 3 boats is taking it's toll and he's slowed down a bit just lately.lady_stormrider wrote: I then realised who was next on to the high table and nearly swooned
If we are going to run out of colours, then I think that your skipper is likely to become a Vice Admiral or a Rear Admiral - does either description fit??lady_stormrider wrote:
Now Mr Nick, sir, are we going to see a new grade - First Sea Lord of Bluemoments - perhaps?
