Someone posted a new avatar for me.
Take it that was from our last trip Nick
Yes . . . it was that picture of you looking cool or a drowned kite
There are still a few broken avatars from the last server move, so I have taken it upon myself to help those who don't avail themselves of our vast avatar library

Thanks Nick. The drowned kite will be no more as I've fitted a new jammer on the coach roof.
Are you doing any courses out of Ardrossan? I spotted West Bound Adventurer on the hard with her nice new anti fouling. Strange looking keel on that boat.

It's a Warwick Collins Tandem Wing Keel. Lower centre of gravity, reduced draft, less pitching motion in a seaway. I'm a fan.
I'm running a course out of Ardrossan April 10 - 15 if there are enough bookings - and if I get revalidated on the course I am going on later this month
15th is the start of the Scuttlebutt Cruise, will you be attending? I've asked a couple of sailing friends along so might be full but I'm sure you could get squeezed in somewhere. It would be a good way of getting home again if you come by train.

That would be perfect. I'm sure if I can scrounge passage to Cumbrae someone will be able to put me up. Is that a goer then?
Yes no problem, I might have room for you but I'll let you know nearer the time. I'm waiting on a couple of confirmations and that might even change near the time if the weather looks iffy
