Photographing and recording the UK's wildlife

Post by Telo »

Ever wondered about what that wild flower was, or want to know the difference between a stoat an a weasel? Well, you might find the answers in iSpot. This project, pronsored by the OU, is a sort of community built resource similar in concept to Wikipedia, or Geograph, to which some in here have contributed. Good initiative.

Thanks for that.

I'm constantly stuggling to work out what things are and this will help.

There were some seabirds today that were exactly like Oyster Catchers but were a sort of brown colour with dark beaks instead of Orange...

....plus this Bird Of Prey at Xmas. I saw the tail when it flew away and from that I reckon it was a Kite of some kind but with such a poor pic I doubt anyone will be able to help...
