I've been searching for lipseals (for the dribbling pump on my 4108) which are 0.626 - 1.125 - 0.313 inches, equivalent to 16 - 28 - 7 mm (shaft - outside - depth) written as 16287 on the seal.
They cost a lot if you admit what the're for, however, at this price you could afford to change them annually.
The list of sizes is pretty comprehensive, so I'm sure you'll find yours here as well.
Could be the spring is not SS, but I'll order some anyway, as they will work on the oil side of the bearing even if they don't like the salt water.

PM's remain in your outbox until read by the recipient and then appear in your sentbox. So not stuck, just waiting for Bill to open it.

Sorry, now using Firefox which does't seem to present the "outstanding messages" flag in the manner I'm used to. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Update on: Jabsco raw water pump maintenance
Got the seals, they look OK and are made by the same company as the originals.
Fitting revealed that they are slightly small on the 28mm (outside ) dimension so need bedded in a non-setting paste that will be sticky enough to stop them revolving. I fancy red Hermetite will do the job.
Also made an alignment tool for the 4108 adapter plate out of a bit of SS tube and some tape.

Although I have never tried this myself I have heard of people using an appropriate sized O rings instead of the steel spring or you could reuse the old stainless steel spring in your new seal.

Yup, the old spring is in the seal bag. However it looks like there will not be a need for it.
I know I'm tempting fate here, but I recon I've now got enough in stock to see me out.
