When I'm on Windymere I expect the one and only fuel pump to extract the urine, so it's no suprise that he sells red diesel for £110 a litre, plus duty at the normal 60/40 split. I buy white diesel from Morrisons for whatever, it's not much hassle for the 50 or so litres I use a year.
After we filled up Capricious at the W/E we went to pay and it was about £1 a litre with the duty on, I suppose that's about right.
It was interesting to see that a Mobo had put 1000L in and declared the 60/40 split, it must be a hell of a job keeping the batteries charged and the saloon warm!
Anyroad, I was down the canal today (just opposite Lidl) and found out about where they get their red diesel from so I'm quite pleased, off to Brighouse tomorrow on my way up to Chiron.
