This weekend a mate of mine is up and as he is a keen sailor it seemed only right to borrow my brother's boat and head out for a couple of hours.
We left Kip and headed to Cumbraes Watersports for lunch - a trip I've done lots of times. We had lunch - having had to go ashore to fill the kettle, and sailed back to Kip.
What a fantastic day - wind going from 6kts to 26kts in a few seconds, fairly flat sea, a couple of tacks on the way back to avoid the jetty at the power station - absolutely brilliant.
Tomorrow my pal has agreed to help me scrape Amaranthe so more fun to look forward to!
Isn't sailing fun?

Sometimes I think it would be best for Amaranthe if Capricious chucked poison darts at you if you get within 30m of the pontoon.
Get on with it.
Get on with it.
