Fuel stop solenoid
Fuel stop solenoid
I have 1992 Beta BZ482 and the fuel stop solenoid has given up the ghost. Beta have quoted £148+vat for a new solenoid; does anyone out there know of a cheaper source for a replacement?

Re: Fuel stop solenoid
Welcome to the forum, Mike.
I don't know of any other source for your solenoid, but as the engine is based around a Kubota engine, I would try a call to a Kubota agent, or perhaps try an auto-electrical place.
Let us know how you get on, especially since I have the same engine!
Cheers
Jim

Re: Fuel stop solenoid
ASAP Supplies can supply these. I have often thought about fitting one but am confused by the various types available. What I would want is one that has no current through it most of the time, only when you switch off the engine by turning off the "ignition" switch. The guys at ASAP have been very helpful with advice in the past.
