Don't stop smoking

Post by puddock »

Due to the fact that the blood thickens whilst smoking, it should be noted that if you cut yourself shaving whilst in the throes of being a "non-smoker", one should be prepared to spend a considerable amount of time sitting around waiting for your face to stop bleeding.
On second thoughts, maybe this post should read, don't buy the cheapest razors in the supermarket.................

Smoking is more dangerous than you think.

On the Jazz weekend at Rothesay in the outer harbour one of my friends was reaching into the saloon of the trawler type boat she was on just as the ferry came in. The motion was so violent that she was thrown off the boat through the open guard rail and crashed onto the finger. Her head hit the cleat on the finger and required an ambulance and was given 8 stitches . Thankfully she has fully recovered.

So as you see smoking is very dangerous!
