Happy birthday Bill - but, and I hesitate to mention this, shouldn't you be mending your boat and not wasting time on the internet? bigparty;

Wow! Thanks everybody.
Sahona is actually on her berth at last, and under her own steam.
However, it seems the engine didn't really like being squashed against the underside of the wheelhouse floor, so it's requiring some t.l.c. - accompanied by some prolific bilge-pumping.
Anyway, milestones have been passed: I see the light at the end of the prop 'tunnel' so to speak, and of course, now being well over the hill, I can testify that the view in general is great.
So_Sage, how wise. I just hope the place hasn't changed too much, and "base camp", the little beach bar from which my avatar pic wos took, is still in action. Just keep back from the water's edge when the tsunami hits every evening!
Pete, I AM working! I've got pockets full of engine bits now in the shed, and the roll of conservatory window stuff has arrived....

Fixed a stream of salt pish this afternoon, only to have it replaced by a brook of diesel. My lovely big green engine doesn't like being disturbed methinks. Still haven't drawn a basinful of hot water from the calorifier...
However, on a brighter note, Kath has re-hung the curtains - I did number them when I took them down, but the ink washed out.... looks more or less right, [gallic shoulder-shrugging WTFDIC smilie inserted]
