Best tape for mending sprayhood windows

Just discovered a small tear about 2 inches in one of the plastic windows in our sprayhood. I would like to know the best way of mending this. Thanks

i found some clear sticky tape in the chandlers which did the job admirably and lasted well.
i applied it inside and outside.

Unfortunately, you are not alone. The stuff I got seems OK so far.
