Looks fine just now, but wait till half way through the season - 3 L for your size of hull is far too thin a coating - it'll have all eroded away.

Your hull is looking good - is that the benifit of your Oxalic Acid?

Ash, I used some Flag AF which I had left over on the keel which allowed me to get 2 coats of Seago on the hull, which I reckon should be fine, since there was only one coat of Seago applied laster year and it seemed to be ok when she came out.
Great stuff that oxalic.

That colour scheme looks about the same as Chiron's. I used Flag antifoul and it is much darker blue than I expected. The boot top is International (IIRC) and a cracking red colour.

I got hold of some oxalic acid too, the hand holds and rubbing strake look peachy now, it has has a lesser effect on the nonskid on the cockpit seats.
Seminole.

:? :? :? :?

Dont know about the Seago, but the flag does go much lighter in colour after a while, but I can live with that.
As for oxalic removing general dirt and grime, ie tea/coffe stains etc, I dont think it will, I applied some to green mossy slime on the slabs at the back of the house on sat before pressure washing and it dident remove the green slime but the washer did.
Acetone is what I usually use to clean non slip deck paint, failing that it needs to be repainted.

Can't remember if I did but a word of warning for anyone else using Seago Cruising Navy which is what Eamonn has just used. I used it last year and it ended up about the same colour as the cradle.
BTW she's looking good Eamonn.
