Ace, I am just about to go down and pick up a cushion which I have been making for boat, quarter berth reinstated.
I bought foam at Jacksons in Argyle st which I now regret after seeing the foam that my upholsterer could have supplied cheaper and better quality.
I cut the foam to shape and am supplied the material.
The woman has a boat herself at Auchinstarrie, and does boat and caravan upholstry, and judging from what she showed me on the pc thother night looks good, but I will give you a more educated quality assessment in about 1 1/2 hours.
Her trading name is, "Anne's sewing room", and its on Colston rd Bishopbriggs, 0141 563 3072, just around the corner from you LBB.

Right, for the report on the cushion.
Well yes I am very pleased with the job done on it and would definatly recommend Anne, and will use her again if I have need to, and the price was very reasonable, it was the material which I bought down south that was very expensive, but wanted to keep with the original pattern.

Not off hand, but if I lose any more height I will be calling to ask her.
I have lost 1" off my 6' in the last 5 yrs, must be the heavy burdens I am constantly carrying. :(

I have just ordered seating covers from a wummin in Cumnock who has an Ebay shop. I just emailed the dimensions for a quote and its working out cheaper than the last set which I ran up myself.
I will report on quality and fit when they arrive but in the meantime the phone number is:
01290 332428
The ebay splurge is advertising covers for a tenner a pop.

Hi,
well I looked at the foam shop but went down the DIY method - an Ikea mattress or two cut up with an electric bread knife was even cheaper! 8)
Enjoy!
