Post by Silkie »

Jist a wee reminder. Tonight in the Edward Wylie, 103-107 Bothwell St. Most seem to be arriving between 7 and 8. I should be there about 7.

.
Please read out my apologies to the assembled company - I have a dinner appointment and counselling session in the T&T with an old friend who appears to be having a mid-life crisis as he has just bought an HR352 . . .

Hope it's a great evening. Please have one for me but not on me :)

Beer Is Good

Post by Pete Cooper »

Myself, Mrs Pete and my brother will be in attendance - probably arrive about 19:00, or just before - it depends on the train.
I believe that the Irishman known as Clyde_Wanderer, or Hummingbird on the VHF will also be there.

Sorry not everyone could make it, but it was altogether a very pleasant evening. Many thanks to Ian for organising it.

A good night indeed. A shame that not everyone could make it but nice to see some new faces too. I particulary liked Moyra & Malcolm's yachty visiting cards.

1920, I take it, that will have been a steam train then.
Good to meet you all again.
Bet that boat of Malcolm and Moyra's can sail quite well, a lovely little boat.
Must admit the night seemed to go very quickley, dident get much chance to have a good chat with you Paul and discuss some of the past subjects I had intended to, nice to see ypu again.
And thanks Pete and Lynne.
Hope to meet up with you all in spring.
And will get only pic on asap.

Glasgow drinks evening

Post by DaveS »

Not a bad night at all. ISTR we drank them out of beer (well, at £1.79 a pint for Deuchars and Abbott what else could we do?) :D
