......I was thinking that some of my fellow forumites might have more money than could be spread around separate financial institutions at a max of £50K per institution.

Those of us who are not so unlucky could help by depositing the cash for them.

I already have cash in a couple of institutions, so the most that I could bank for you would be say £250K.

I would be doing this as a favour for a fellow forumite, so I wouldn't charge you for this service, but would keep any interest earned.

Do you think that this would be a popular service?
