Listening out for boats in fog

Post by Telo »

Everybody probably knows this already, so sorry if I'm boring you with egg-sucking, but related to the other thread about fog, I found that the brass trumpet-style fog horn makes an excellent ear trumpet with good directional amplification. Good for listening out for boats in fog, waves lapping rocks etc.

A good reason to keep the aural orifices clean.
