Jabsco Vented Loop - Spares?

Post by ash »

Hi

Does anyone know if you can buy spares for a Jabsco Vented Loop? I need to replace the little rubber valve, and I don't want to pay for a whole loop.

I tend to pump the bowl dry, and when pumping air I could hear the valve on the discharge pipe hissing. This loop isn't very accessible but today I stripped some bits out to get to it. I've found that the lips on the valve are distorted and is passing a tiny dribble of water and a fair bit of air.

As a temporary measure, I've swapped over the rubber valve between the inlet loop and the outlet loop. The loop on the inlet pipe is easily accessed, and any water leaked is at least clean! Luckily, the toilet hasn't been used for 'solids' for a while.

TIA

Ash

BTW - Had a session on toilets today. Last weekend SWMBO dropped one of these little plastic bottles of shampoo that you get in hotels. It fell into the bowl and dissappeared into the horizontal bit between the bowl and the pump. I couldn't fish it back with a bit of wire so had to strip off the pump and poke it back.
