As a close aquaintance of her dear Mama, I am currently distraught at the news that Zara will not be going to Bejing because her horse had gone and injured itself

""The injury to Toytown, a 14-year-old chestnut gelding, was discovered on Tuesday, he said, declining to specify where the horse had been hurt. Though relatively minor, it meant horse and rider would be unable to maintain their training schedule. "By the time he recovers he will have missed his chance of going, because he will have lost his fitness." The eventing competition begins in Hong Kong on August 9.""

Maybe Granpa kicked the nag in the b*ll*x as his own personal protest against the Chinese Regime.

Edit - Just noticed that Toytown is a gelding so my theory must be wrong.

After the Nag has been shot, should the horse be put out of it's misery too?

It would seem not .........

Unlikely to have much effect seeing as the animal is a gelding

I take severe exception to the suggestion that Prince Phillip is a gelding..... :)

Oh, I don't know, see here:

Octogenarian Dad

Mind you, I'm not sure that Phil the Greek 'takes long walks everyday' nor 'drinks fresh camel milk' or indeed, 'enjoys sex'.

Cheers,

Alister.

I have often wondered how things work with 3 wives, I mean the practicalities.

Do you have one to sleep with one to cook and one to do housework.

Do they change roles, or have some sort of rota.

Who decides who you sleep with or is it a 4 in a bed sort of arrangement (so you don't know which way to turn)

Do they take it in turns to receive your favours

If you need a rest does that nights wife miss her turn or do you have to complete the performance for her turn to count.

Is there a "pecking order" of wives - a sort of lead wife who manages the other 2

If there is a lead wife can you sack her and promote one of the others

If you fall out with one do the other 2 come out in sympathy or will they take your side.

Do wives 1 and 2 have a say in the selection of wife 3

How do you cope with 3 sets of in-laws

Seems a very complicated life indeed.

I agree. I'm beginning to wonder if even I have one too many :!:

You reckon Phil doesn't enjoy giving one to an ageing queen?

I knew that Brian May had played atop of Buckingham Palace and has a CBE but I didn't realise that his relationship with the Windsors was that intimate....
