Garredfox is 35 (ish)

Post by Nick »

.
Just back from a pleasant and slightly alcoholic birthday celebration down the T&T where, amongst other events and happenings, we spent a pleasant hour or so in converse with Mr & Mrs cpedw who were bravely anchored amidst the hailstorms in Puilladobhrain with the Webasto on full chat.

They are hoping to get to Iona tomorrow, probably Tinkers Hole but maybe exploring some of Shard's South Mull suggestions on the way.

I was apparently recognised by my avatar - something that used to happen to MacHurley a lot as well I believe.

Hmmmm, I see my wilting candle of last week isn't standard confectionary, so it was personal was it? Have we met?

With Nick's forum, it's difficult to follow who's fighting with whom.

No, it wasn't personal, and certainly no slur was intended.

That candle was the first one lit, and by the time you get to number 64, the first one is well burnt down and having been bought in Lidl is a bit wilted.

I suspect that we might have done, it's difficult to keep up with the nom de plumes. IIRC, you may have been in my car.

But it was good to meet Nick and Kathy. We didn't get so far as Iona or even Tinker's Hole but we did manage to investigate some of those crevices along the south coast of the Ross of Mull. Full details later, when I've straightened out the scrap of paper with notes on.

Nothing to stop us going in tomorrow if Mike is willing.

Didn't go anywhere.

Tittivated Silkie (gilding the lily some would say) met Ocklepoint and drank excessively - not necessarily in that order.
