Is it possible, and perhaps advisable that the latest weather is aways the top sticky ? there might be a problem if the latest is not the top one :!:

Is this not the case? The forecasts within posts are stickied while relevant (and in any case are dated) and if you go to Weatherweb.tv or Weatherweb.net you will always get the latest forecast anyway.

I normally associate sticky weather with high levels of humidity.

May I assure you that the weather in the environs of Blackpool and Fleetwood is anything but humid at present.
