Glasgow Rangers fans carbon footprint?

I see in tonight's news Barcelona are preparing for Celtic fans to invade the city, and, in light of the Rangers fans visit last November, are begging restraint.
We happened to be celebrating our ruby thingy - no parole here - and went to Rome in November. On the return journey we were surprised to be sharing the plane with a gaggle of rangers fans. It transpired they had taken the cheap flight option : Barcelona - Rome - Glasgow! Talk about a carbon footprint - they must have diamonds on the soles of their shoes.
Anyway, we can confirm Barca's fears. The language and behaviour of the Rangers fans, (women included) were diabastrical, to the extent that the plane had a dry run, refusing to serve alcohol, and threatening to arrest people on arrival in UK. I was black affronted and bloody annnoyed simultaneously.
Where animals are involved, we should be issued cattle prodders.
I guess this is the reason that I have disliked football and all its appendages from an early age. Born in the wrong city...
