Nick Stratton Death
Nick Stratton was a big character on the Clyde being based at Rhu and from NI. I did my Competent Crew in 1980 on one of his Ruffian 22 designs and sailed on a few Sigma 33’s sold out of his agency. I never knew him directly, only through association of others, and he was big racer on the Clyde circuit. The 80’s were a glorious era for Clyde racing, very popular, competitive and well attended, and he was part of that.
What's that? Dunno! Should we be worried about that? Dunno! How? Ah dunno!

Quite a character, particularly well know in and around Rhu and for the various David Thomas designed boats he built and sold (Hydro, Bolero, Big Bolero etc)
