Raymarine Evolution Autopilot

Post by Corona »

Having sold our last boat I am left with a shed load of stuff of varying usefulness which I will probably have to take to Ardfern next time they have a jumble, meantime I will list the best stuff on here.
This pilot kit was purchased mainly from Ardfern in 2017 with the intention of fitting it on the Nimbus mobo I was trying to get to like at the time but the mobo sold and the gear is still in the boxes complete with installation instructions etc. I had kept it with the idea of fitting in the Moody but the old ST4000 never missed a turn. You will find full details pictures etc on Raymarines website.
ACU200 actuator
EV1 sensor core
E70099 rudder reference transducer ( not always essential?)
P70R instrument head
Backbone cable set with al necessary connector plugs.
Some 12v cable and a couple of home mde mounting boards, everything for a state of the art pilot except the actual drive, the 200 actuator will work with most rams, hydraulic pumps, motor drives etc ( the 100 is restricted to a tiller or wheel pilot). Note that the P70R is turned by rotation rather than by clicking keys but is equally water resistant.
Subject to location I would be willing to fit but it is a straightforward diy job, 1/2 to 1 days work.
The makers list price of this package is £2250 but you could buy it recently from Cactus for£1914, I am asking £1200
