Avast there
You've stolen the same image as me for this one:

I'll shuffle off to BYM in a huff if any more Slocums start posting.

Nuffin I've done should have removed any existing avatars . . .

for some reason that is beyond my techilliterate understanding i cannot upload my original avatar. it is on a gallery which gives me a link but when i try to paste the link into my profile the only thing that happens is a heading box pops up saying the picture must be a jpg / gif or something else.
i don`t recall having any problems when i first uploaded the avatar beyond being unfamiliar with the process.
where am i going wrong now ?
and more

Just download the avatar to your machine and save it somewhere, then upload it from there via your profile page.
Sorry for the hassle, but it means your avatar will be securely stored on our system and served immediately every time.

ok, so far so good - the avatar is now stored on my computer. it measures about 300 x 300 so i can`t upload to the forum.
i can`t find any way of reducing the size ( i did say i was techilliterate, didn`t i ? ) although i must have cracked this one when i first put the avatar up.
help .....
