Well - that's an interesting one - I wonder if I'll be allowed up there at that time?
Perhaps I can avail myself of yer hospitality Wullyum?

Re: Lottie Opening
I had a look at the LOTI website today, and it still shows it closed until further notice. Anyone with more local knowledge know better?

Re: Lottie Opening
I had to talk to Craobh Marina earlier. Alistair says that the LOTI is still shut, they're working on the place, and hoping to open on 17 May.

We're heading north to Craobh for the summer this weekend. It will be interesting to see what changes , if any , there are at LOTI.

Re: Lottie Opening
It’s had a total refurb allegedly.
Last time I was over there they were wasting time painting the outside instead of getting the beer delivery equipment operational...

Re: Lottie Opening
There has been work done externally and internally. A wooden framework, about the size of a bus shelter, has appeared in the grounds. The half barrel planters were lifted off what I assume is the septic tank, or maybe just a drains tank and the concrete lid opened up. The planters are now back. As of this Monday all the external seats were still piled up at the edge of the patio.
While it did not look tired last time I was in it, it's not exactly built from brick excrement house materials, so perhaps it needed more than just a face lift to reopen.
Nothing on their web page https://lordoftheisles.co.uk Their FaceBook page says opening end of May, so it must be very soon. A water shortage risk at Craobh apparently.

Re: Lottie Opening
Apparently the LOTI will open in a couple of weeks, after a full refurb, it looks like the place will be much brighter. The previous tenants are not in charge, and the owners are back running it, hopefully a lot better than in the past. The "bus shelter" could be an outside bar from the look of it today. If the weather we are having continues no-one will want to sit inside.
I thought there was always a risk of a water shortage at Croabh
