Still recovering from the excitement :o

And not much sailing-related activity round here.

If only I had brought my charts home I could have updated them. Instead I'm recovering the saloon cushions. Just so exciting!

I'm building a 1/13 scale model of my boat. If can't work on the fullsize one, then can work on the wee one. Adding a toerail today and thinking about howto do the guardrail stanchions. Mast made, need to make the step, and a boom. If I figure out how to post a picture on here I'll do that.

As in my mother's old Singer 'cos I'm not allowed to touch her new plastic fantastic with more knobs than the Westminster cabinet + a hideously expensive roll of wipeable, impervious to salt water, urine, alcohol, and seagull excrement material in tart's boudoir crème d'avoine.

I cant get at the boat to actually do anything, so I just keep ordering stuff online and bunging it in the cupboard. That thinsulate sleeving for the hot air ducting is well nice. I need to stop actually wearing it on my arms and legs though and turn up the house thermostat instead.
