Very weird . . .
Can't be a panic abandonment because the EPIRB & lifejackets were still on board.
Why are there fenders out though? Suggests an abandonment to another boat . . .
Can;t be pirates because nothing was nicked . . .
What shredded the sail? All very mysterious.
