With a nod to advancing years, heart surgery and a general but at the moment gentle loss of my former robustness - I have taken a pontoon berth at Ardfern.
The dilemma created is this.
Should I use the boat more in the coming years or will I be getting better value for money if I just leave it tied to the pontoon?

Re: Dilemma
Leave it on the pontoon suitably stocked with alcoholic beverages and snacks then you can wallow in the warmth and love of other sailors as they partake of your largesse, preferably without you needing to be present.

Re: Dilemma
Thats what I really love about this forum as opposed to others - the constant, helpful suggestions that just keep streaming in.
I wonder why I hadn't thought of doing that.
Nick - are you really thinking of canning it?
