Apologies to several new posters

Post by Nick »

.
Just been going through the notifications and have found several new non-spam posts from new posters that have had no approval, going as far back as August.

Looks like this forum could do with a new moderator. It's not a very arduous job, is anyone up for it?

I would be happy to do it, provided you tell me what to do.

Congratulations, you are now a moderator. You will see an MCP icon - stands for Moderator Control Panel. Should all be fairly self-evident - approve new posters, or disapprove spammers, move posts between forums etc, ban people if necessary.

Many thanks for offering to help out.

Well done Dave. Dinnae let the power go to your heid but you could start by turning off the sweary filter.
