Interesting, but less handy from Scotland, Harwich is a heck of a drive.
Newcastle-Hamburg/Bremerhavn would get my vote, but it's not likely..

We were without power for 37hrs, but some places are still off (day 4 and counting). Welfare vans drafted in, and SSE have set up generators in hotels so that people can go and get food. Een thr Calmac ferries have been used as shelters. Well it's not as if they're going anywhere!

Fortunately the boat, on her mooring, is fine. Feeling like a 32mm strop was the correct decision, even thoug it only just fits in the bow roller.
