You'll be fine at the end of March in Flaine. The base is so dense and cold courtesy of the massive January falls that even though the afternoon snow is decidedly slushy it doesn't completely melt, and then it freezes again overnight. The locals reckon that even without fresh snow the skiing's guaranteed until Mid April.
