OK so if we are doing a bit of reshaping and sizing - when should we address the issue of the descriptor that runs beneath our Username?
I see I am described as an Old Salt - which, whilst agreeable to some - does raise a couple of concerns.
The first is probably within the spirit of the Trades Description Act in that I am bracketed with Silkie who is similarly described. I think we are quite different - I have no objection to being bracketed with the Bearded Wonder but am not sure that I am worthy of such a sobriquet. Perhaps Eye Candy might be more appropriate for my good self?

I wouldn't worry too much about being unworthy to share my ranking since I am likely to be wearing blue at the mizzen in the very near future, God willing.

Imagine the anguish if he banned you at the 999th post, or worse still, used some of his keyboard trickery such that your count always stayed at 999, or started going backwards. Maybe Nick could change the rule randomly such that sometimes your count went up, and sometimes down. It would be a bit like Snakes and Ladders, and you would need an exact number to finish.
