Forecast updated at Weatherweb.TV

Post by weatherman »

With all the talk of winds and flooding I thought you might like to know that I have added a new Severe Weather channel to Weatherweb.TV

Also the sailing forecast has been updated. Yes, I know this is for the Channel but hang on in there, other regions to follow soon.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Simon

Thanks as usual Simon. I don't know if anyone else has the same problem (apart from it being a crappy forecast for doing anything outside  ) but the volume seems to be very low. Even on external speakers with the volume at full, I can only just hear you. Anyone else ?.

The sound was fine for me.

Not Hi-Fi quality, but certainly very listenable, and I'm now of an age where I have trouble picking out what anyone is saying if there is any other noise in the background.

Cheers
Jim

ps Definately crap weather though, but it looks like we are going to miss the worst of it, which is a change !

Excellent idea. I've signed up for the email. If I'm planning to sail I will always seek out a forecast (or three) but severe weather can affect me whatever I'm doing so having an alert emailed makes sense.

A couple of minor points.

The severe weather tab is not available on the homepage but only after clicking on the sailing tab. Is this intentional?

I second Para's suggestion of having the morning/afternoon/evening information bar show which m/a/e i.e. Monday/ Tuesday etc.

Thanks again.

My end it seems, I e.mailed the link to wife in office so she could open it using the PC, and it came through clear as a bell, so it must be the sound settings on the laptop

The viewer window opens with it's own volume control set quite low, for me anyway. Could it be as simple as that?

Not a lot of difference to be honest, but the volume is something I've had problems with before on the lappy.
