Last night the forum was moved to a new server. The only change you should notice is that the address now starts with http://www.bluemoment.co.uk instead of .com.

The links on the main site should all point to the new location and the only difference you should notice is that your auto-login may not be working. Deleting your browser cache and cookies should help with this.

The new classifieds section is on this server as well, while the rest of the site remains on the old server for now - although it is likely that it too will move in the not too distant future, in which case this forum may move back to the .com at some future point.

The address of the main site will always remain at http://www.bluemoment.com and the links will always point to this forum whatever else happens. If you have bookmarked the forum you will need to change your bookmarks.

One problem I'm having is that when a new post is added, it shows as a new post, but when I click on the 'show new post' tag, it goes to the start of the thread and not the new post.
My end or not ?.

Well that's amazing!

I didn't know you could do that. It seems to work for me, approximately anyway, although pictures confuse it a bit as they do in another place.

Cleared cookies at this end and now it's working fine.

Test pound

Post by Silkie »

£

Pound signs in older posts show as little squares, in my browser anyway.

The one above looks fine, so did the back up and restore to the new server lose something in the translation or does the old post look like £000 to you?
