Are sassenachs allowed on here?
Just wondering are Sassenachs allowed to post on here, or is it a closed shop? I did once live in Kirkcaldy in the early fifties, but don’t remember much apart from the sheep getting into our back yard and constantly knocking over our dustbin.

As another card carrying Yorkshireman I would compare my shortness of arm and depth of pockets with anyone.
Indeed, who amongst us has learned Braille so they can read with the light turned off.
My limited understanding of Garlic indicates that Sassenach actually means "Lowlander". So this would seem to include anyone not from the Highlands.
So those from anywhere south of, say Stirling, would be a sassenachs, which would of course include most Scots.
Not entirely sure what all this nonsense means, but thought I should point it out for the sake of completeness.
Personally I think its all Hadrians fault for building his bloody wall in the wrong place. According to him Newcastle is in England and Nth Shields is in Scotland, and that can't be right.
