Hate to upset , but that's the jet stream from a few days ago

if it moves South before summer then we are set for another rubbish load of weather for 2008

Ah, I see what you mean. I'm afraid the nearest I come to forecasting the weather is watching the jet stream position and sticking my head out of the door. I get the weekly forecast by e.mail from Simon and when it arrives I have a look and (very broadly speaking) it ties up with the forecast and time of year.
Last summer it was down South and seemed to guide all the bad weather in to us and now it's moved North, we have relatively mild weather. If I'm wrong I do hope someone will tell me because its position dictates whether I erect my pool this year or not.
