Don't where it is, but I think that it was taken at about 12:06:22 on 2007:08:09.

Just rying to remember where you went last year!
Also trying to remember what Ben More looks like.
Seems to resemble the Firth of Lorne and the bit of Mull that heads westish to form the Ross.
Can't be right though
Seems quite soft landscape so I feel it is inside Ardnamurchan but probably hopelessly wrang.

Stupid Sod Claymore
Acarseid Mhor - Gometra

Should have known that Bull Hole to Bunessan was too short a hop for a world girdler like yourself - anyway the original was taken on Starboard tack with Mull to your Port Side so you were heading to Dallens Bay - Bull Hole to Bunessan wid be going the wrong way.

Had another look - I'm not right there - not Acarseid Mhor - I would have been able to see Mull from that Angle and its too wide and not the right shape
Completely bolloxed!

Now then, now then, you're being much too hard on yourself. It's jist that your powers of recognition and memory are on the wane. Anyway, you were spot on with Bunessan, so here are another couple of clues. This is the anchorage at the start of the passage, but looking in the opposite direction from the earlier photie;

And this is about an hour later going round the south, gey roch looking, side of a well known island;
