Crinan Canal Winter Closure

While looking to see if there were water restrictions yet I came across the news (to me, anyway) that the canal will be closed from 2nd October 22 to 30th March 23 for major works involving drainage of large sections. Boats at Bellanoch will be relocated.

Opening tomorrow, though they were still working at some of the gates yesterday.
